Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, which takes its name from the year that Leeds United first became English Champions. I was born in Leeds to Irish parents, but now live in Hertfordshire with my long suffering wife, Maria.

After a long career in retail and sales, I've been able to return to my first love; writing. Throughout each football season, I regularly contribute to the Yorkshire Evening Post and I've also produced several Irish history pieces for Ireland's Own and The Irish Post.

'Bielsa = Leeds' was published in 2019. This is a fan's perspective on the Argentine's achievements in his opening season as Leeds United manager.

'Bielsa Delivers: Leeds Go Home' was published in 2020. Following the remarkable achievements in his inaugural season at Elland Road, 'El Loco' went one step further and delivered promotion for the Whites. This book documents each moment and also provides some amusing anecdotes.

'Wonder If It's Woolies' was also published in 2020. This humorous, coming of age story follows a young man at the start of his retail management career; which often involved dealing with drunks, perverts and violent criminals. It's set in a store chain which is instantly recognisable to former employees and customers. Wonder if it's Woolies?

As well as being a lifelong Leeds United supporter, I aim to watch every match home and away. My other interests include Irish Music, Literature and History. I'm also an avid follower of Leeds Rhinos, as well as Mayo GAA.
